Founded in 2023 by a group of university graduates who experienced firsthand the challenges of navigating life after education, Jigundue exists to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical life skills. Our organization focuses on helping youth gain self-awareness, confidence, and the tools they need to thrive in today’s world.
Headquartered at Mbezi Beach, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Jigundue was officially registered in 2024 under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act, 2002 with registration number 00NGO/R/7677.

The Problem We Address
Across Africa, over 65% of the population is under 25 years old, yet many young people face unemployment, limited career guidance, and a lack of practical life skills. In Tanzania, youth unemployment is estimated at around 10%, while the majority of jobs are informal, offering little stability or growth.
Without guidance and self-awareness, many youths wait for opportunities that may never come, rather than creating their own. Jigundue exists to equip them with the knowledge, mindset, and skills needed to unlock their potential and actively shape their future.
