Changing Minds, Changing Lives

We equip African youth with self-awareness, life skills, and the knowledge to unlock their true potential, creating opportunities beyond conventional employment.

Who We Are?
Why We Exist?

Jigundue is a non-profit organization based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, founded on 2023 with a registration number 00NGO/R/7677 dedicated to one powerful idea that when young people truly understand themselves, they can change their world.

Over 65% of Africa’s population is under the age of 25, yet millions of young people struggle with unemployment, limited career guidance, and lack of life skills. In Tanzania alone, youth unemployment is estimated at around 10%, while many others remain in unstable informal work.

Without the right guidance and self-awareness, many young people are left waiting for opportunities instead of creating them. Jigundue exists to help youth discover their strengths, develop the right mindset, and unlock their potential to build their own futures.

SELF-DISCOVERY
We guide youth through structured programs that help them identify their talents, purpose, and personal values the foundation of everything else.
LIFE SKILLS
From financial literacy to career guidance, we teach what schools don't the practical knowledge young people need to thrive in the real world.
COMMUNITY GROWTH
When individuals grow, communities grow. We connect youth to networks, mentors, and opportunities that extend far beyond the classroom.

Our Goal Impact in Numbers

Jigundue also reaches youth through digital conversations and dialogue platforms.

The Beyond the Echo Podcast Series, hosted by Jacqueline Mlawa with contributors Lilian Mpondachuma and Cliff Mwangosi, focuses on topics such as resilience, self-belief, gratitude, prioritization, and the importance of relationships in personal growth.

Why Self-Awareness Matters?

Self-awareness helps young people understand their abilities, passions, and values. When youth know themselves, they make better decisions about education, careers, and entrepreneurship.
